LIFE AS A SINGLE MAN

Life as a single male isn’t all as cool as many perceive it to be; sure the parties can be fun and all then the mere fact that you can pick up a different chick every time you go out and get as drunk as one may wish without the worry of anyone to pest you about it or be upset with you if you act a fool. On any given day one can stay out till almost dawn then get two or three hours nap then head out for work. These things, the typical male knows only destroys him over time both physically and socially. Being a single male has its perks that any egotistic male may sometimes find quite entertaining and fulfilling for the moment that is, moments such as being in the club and being able to dance or hang with any or as many girls as he wishes or identify the one that best satisfies your semi-intoxicating state of mind then prey on her in a bid to leave with her rather to your bachelor pad or the cheapest available room where they both can get it on not thinking of the risks of contracting a std, how many chicks one can score for the night becomes a cherished goal between bachelors. Surely a single guy might even score with a chick that’s already in relationship, now for most bachelors scoring with another man’s chick proves some form of supremacy to their ego while at the same time they would never encourage same chick to leave her man for them as it may be easier to have her as a booty call.
All the things mentioned above may make most want to be single as it seems fun being a single man but honestly it’s not…..

At the end of all the fun parties resulting in one-night-stands with some random chick that one may never see again a man wants to be real they want to love and be loved, they all yearn for that special woman to call their queen for when all is done one will need someone special to share a cup of coffee with on a Sunday morning before church. During the long cold nights one just can’t simply pick up the phone and call up a girl to come spend the night with him for in doing so he will find that he may have to make multiple calls to find a willing candidate then probably have to go pick up same from work or home. All this due to the fact that females don’t want to be just a man’s girl, they want to feel and know that they mean the world to one man and is respected like a lady… At the day’s end like the female counterpart the single male craves companionship, emotional security, someone to grow with, watch sad movies and comedies with and simply someone who is supplemental to his life while at same time yearning to be conductive of such a person’s life. Even though many single men portray a mighty macho persona out in public, behind the scenes they have the same great enthusiasm at the thought of having a family like all females do. The more different both sexes claim to be the more we realize that we are all the same. It’s amazingly unbelievable to many that with all the singly ladies out there yearning for true love there is considerably the same amount of males seeking the same.

Starting relationships are hard and maintaining them is even harder so I think that when an individual gets to know someone and opens up their hearts to each other they should do all it takes to make it work. Life is short and can be meaningless without love and one to share it with……………………………………………………………………………….……………….

  In our quest to find ourselves we often lose sight of what we really have, life and the love of family and friends. To me finding ones self is appreciating the simple things we have, the things that makes living worth it, like life and love, the ability to appreciate our friends for who they are and the kindness to accept and show love when its offered to us. Our lives are all different but our needs are all the same we all search for happiness and pray for the will to survive. In short if there is love in our lives already then in finding ourselves we are only taking a trek to lose that which we already have.. this sometimes leaves us in a lower state of mind than when we started. be wise to appreciate love when its slapping you in the face because in this world we call home real love is as rare as a honest politician. ACCEPT AND SPREAD THE LOVE SO IT ELEVATES THOSE AROUND US TO BE ON THE THE SAME LEVEL AS US.....................................DA'GREAT

  If you are genuinely seen as a great friend to someone they will never leave ur side no matter the cause, instead they will take ur hand and guide you to the better place they are heading to. We often say we are friends but we hardly ever act the part, success comes in different forms for each of us it even takes a different path and often takes longer for some to attain but in the end the destination is always the same. Don't just say you are a friend practice the skill, uplift ur friend and see how much better u feel to have your friend beside you when the destination is within sight and the gates are open.............da'great

  Most pple these days are too stuck up up with getting rich that they forget how to simply smile and have fun,,me i just want to be happy............money will never be enough in our lives so y stress it.... lets face we all chase it thinking it will relieve our worries but instead it only adds more to them and shoud you have it in excess then you become a target to those who are too lazy to work for it.. People tend to think having money brings happiness but all it does is tear friendships apart, break up families and in some cases cost lives. True friendship is perhaps the only relation that survives the trials and tribulations of time and remains unconditional. A unique blend of affection, loyalty, love, respect, trust and loads of fun is perhaps what describes the true meaning of friendship. Similar interests, mutual respect and strong attachment with each other are what friends share between each other. These are just the general traits of a friendship. To experience what is friendship, one must have true friends, who are indeed rare treasure.

Friendship is a feeling of comfort and emotional safety with a person. It is when you do not have to weigh your thoughts and measure words, before keeping it forth before your friend. It is when someone knows you better than yourself and assures to be your side in every emotional crisis. It is when you can sleep fighting and get another morning with a better understanding. Friendship is much beyond roaming together and sharing good moments, it is when someone comes to rescue you from the worst phase of life. Friendship is eternal.

Different people have different definitions of friendship. For some, it is the trust in an individual that he / she won't hurt you. For others, it is unconditional love. There are some who feel that friendship is companionship. People form definitions based on the kind of experiences they have had. This is one relation that has been nurtured since time immemorial. DIVORCE VS MURDER

A nice, calm and respectable lady went into the pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said,"I would like to buy some cyanide."

The pharmacist asked,"Why in the world do you need cyanide?" The lady replied, "I need it to poison my husband."
The pharmacist's eyes got big and he exclaimed, "Lord have mercy! I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband.
That's against the law! I'll lose my license! They'll throw both of us in jail!
All kinds of bad things will happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!"
The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.

WHAT IS LOVE REALLY..........

LOVE.......... easy to say and spell but almost impossible to define but according to my Oxford dictionary it can be described as 1) A very strong feeling of affection.  2) A strong feeling of affection linked with sexual attraction. 3) A great interest and pleasure in something. 4) In tennis, football etc. its a score of zero... In my opinion most of us will say that its defined best withe the first three definitions, well  it does but in reality  its the fourth definition that most of us associates it with. My reasons for saying so is because of the way many of us treat the ones who genuinely loves us, pushing them away and ill-treating them.........Now lets see what the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (BIBLE) has to say about love, The true meaning of love, as defined in the Bible, has been corrupted in the common usage of our English language and society. Most often, love is confused with infatuation - that elated, "high" feeling we get when we "fall in love." This kind of "love" is something that lasts typically less than a year, and unless replaced by true love, results in broken relationships.
The Bible indicates that love is from God. In fact, the Bible says "God is love." Love is one of the primary characteristics of God. Likewise, God has endowed us with the capacity for love. This capacity for love is one of the ways in which we are "created in the image of God."
"AGAPE." This love is represented by God's love for us. It is a non-partial, sacrificial love probably best exemplified by God's provision for our rebellion:
In contrast, our love is usually conditional and based upon how other people behave toward us. This kind of love is based upon familiarity and direct interaction. The Greek word "PHILEO" defines this kind of love, often translated "brotherly love." Phileo is a soulish (connected through our emotions) kind of love - something that can be experienced by both believers and non-believers. This is in contrast to agape, which is love extended through the spirit. Agape love requires a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, since the non-regenerated soul is unable to love unconditionally. Agape love gives and sacrifices expecting nothing back in return.

The most famous biblical chapter on love is from 1 Corinthians:
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:1-13)
This is a description of agape love. It is described as being patient, kind, truthful, unselfish, trusting, believing, hopeful, and enduring. It is not jealous, boastful, arrogant, rude, selfish, or angry. True love never fails. The description perfectly fits God's love toward us, and should be the way we love each other and God. However, I have never met any person who perfectly fulfills this biblical definition of love. The Bible says that this unconditional love is more important than everything else (a partial list includes oratory ability, prophecy, knowledge, faith, philanthropy and hope). All of these things, which are "good" things, will pass away. Only love is eternal, since love will be the basis of eternal life. In fact, when Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was, He said, "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND." (Matthew 22:37)10 He then added that the second most important law was "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." Jesus said that the entire law was dependent upon these two commandments.

Sometimes people make sacrifices just to help a friend or a relative when they are in need, this is done out of the love & kindness that God wants us to practice... Now one may not know what sacrifices were made to help them so they accept the help and say thanks but that thanks is without appreciation, just a mere word which goes with the wind and instantly forgotten along with the kind gesture that caused them to utter the word. "Thank you" is as easy to say as is blinking your eyes not many persons know the meaning of such phrase so they just say it because it can be said.. and the funny part is we wont know who understands this concept until we help them and one day needs help from them, it is then that you will realize that the sacrifices you would make to help relatives and friends are sacrifices that most of them would never make for you.
